The SC Festival of Flowers Junior Tennis Tournament has been around since 1981. This is a USTA Level 6 Junior Open Tournament held at the Greenwood Country Club and is open to 12 to 18-year-old players. We anticipate approximately 100 players from the Southeast to participate in this Junior tennis tournament.
We play at the Greenwood Country Club and possibly the Gatewood Racquet Club throughout the weekend. Each participant receives a player gift, lunch on Saturday, and lots of match play.
We reserve Friday in case we need to begin play for the larger events, but play will not begin before 4 PM (but usually around 5:30 PM). On Saturday, we begin play at 8:30 AM; on Sunday, play begins at 9:00 AM and is usually for those in the Final Rounds. Occasionally, we may have to play more than the Final Rounds depending on what the weather does for us throughout the weekend.
